Our Story: SM-Global
SM-Global is a trusted leader in audiovisual and interpretation services, rooted in Northern Quebec in l’Abitibi-Temiscamingue and operating from Montreal, Abitibi, and Quebec City.
Founded by Shawn Malone in 2010, the company began as a music studio where Shawn honed his craft while studying interpretation. Officially launched in 2020, SM-Global bridges communication gaps with innovative, certified solutions.
Growing up in Abitibi-Temiscamingue, surrounded by many Indigenous communities, friends, and family, Shawn developed a deep appreciation for their cultures and the challenges they face. This inspired a commitment to supporting Indigenous communities, federal agencies, universities, and private organizations, fostering truth, reconciliation, and growth. Our mission is to amplify voices, preserve heritage, and empower clients with cutting-edge technology and personalized service.
With the addition of passionate professionals like Gabriel Aylwin, Alex Godbout, Olivier Beauvais & Laurence Aylwin-Lefevbre, SM-Global continues to grow, serving the province of Quebec and clients around the globe.
