With 15 years of experience in interpretation and event services, Shawn Malone founded SM-Global with a singular mission: to redefine communication and event experiences through innovation and adaptability. Shawn’s entrepreneurial journey started with his love for music, and although he never followed a formal path in business, his dedication to the craft has led SM-Global to serve clients across North America and beyond.

Growing up in Val-d’Or and Montreal, Shawn always had a passion for bringing people together, whether through music, hosting family parties, or getting everyone around the grill (his BBQ skills are legendary). As President and Chief Interpreter, he ensures every event is executed with seamless precision and professionalism. His favorite part of the job? Seeing the satisfaction in his clients’ faces when a project comes together.

When Shawn isn’t busy running the company, you’ll find him enjoying his hobbies—motorcycling, listening to music, or spending time with loved ones.
